The Surgical Technologist help prepare the operating room by setting up sterile surgical instruments and supplies. During the surgical procedure the surgical tech is responsible for anticipating the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies, performing sponge/ sharps counts, providing solutions to the surgeons. The surg tech will ensure there are no breaks in sterile technique.
Outpatient Center OR has 8 surgical suites and 1 procedure room. You will care for newborn to adult patients needing outpatient surgical services. Most common surgical services: dental, urology, gynecology, hand surgery, neurology, otolaryngology/ head and neck, plastics, surgical oncology, and sports medicine.

Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Successful completion of a Surgical Technology training program orequivalent Surg Tech Military training/work experience is required
BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
No surgical technician work experience required
