Position Summary
Enrollment Services OperationsIntegrated Processing is designed to integrate processing services throughoutthe student enrollment process. Integrated Processing Specialists (part-time) report to theAssistant Director of Integrated Processing or other Department Administratorand perform a variety of responsibilities related to Enrollment Services atColumbus State Community College. Integrated Processing serves as theenrollment processing hub for the College. Integrated Processing Specialistsevaluate documents and execute processes which support the functions ofadmissions, financial aid, registration, and student record-related duties,with a focus on one area with the opportunity to be cross-trained for potentialadvancement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Document Processing (Academic)
RECORDS MAINTENANCE AND RESEARCH
Processes grade changes as well ascorrections and changes to demographic record information and posts high schoolarticulation updates and prior learning assessment updates in the studentinformation system, ensuring all required supporting documentation is receivedand stored in the student record in the document management system.
REGISTRATION
Processes multiple types ofregistration request activity following college practices, restrictions, anddeadlines. Stores all registration adjustment request documentation in thestudent record in the document management system. Makes any notations neededwithin the student information system regarding registration activity and/orrecords updates. Manages the registration mailbox for appropriate dispositionof all emailed registration requests.
TRANSCRIPTEVALUATION
Processeshigh school and college transcript documents and enters data into the studentinformation and degree audit systems. Follows state rules and college practicesand guidelines.
Document Processing(Financial Aid)
Coordinates tuition adjustmentrequest/appeals process and administrative withdrawals.
Processes documents and entersdata into the student information system and Federal Financial Aid ProcessingSystem. Follows federal and state regulations and college practices andguidelines to ensure institutional compliance. Certifies student eligibilityregarding citizenship, selective service registration and veteran's status,federal loan aggregate, defaults and bankruptcy, social security number,educational purpose, program of study, and academic progress.
Verifies financial data reportedon the student's financial aid applications including the Free Application forFederal Student Aid (FAFSA). Reviews tax and other documentation to determineannual income and verifies student and parent household and asset information.Determines financial need using College and Federal information. AwardsFederal, State, and Institutional funds. Revises awards based on change ofeligibility and student requests.
Reviews appeals based change offinancial and academic information. Assists with the identification andprocessing of potential fraud issues regarding federal financial aid funding.
Reports updated and correctedstudent data to the Federal Processor and Loan Servicers. Processes reportsfrom the Department of Education regarding a student's FAFSA information, loaneligibility, and previous enrollment.
Assists with the reconciliation offederal awarding and funding.
Customer Service
Communicates with staff andfaculty regarding admissions and financial aid eligibility, requireddocumentation, awards revisions, academic records, and appeal decisions.Interfaces with College departments, Ohio Department of Higher Education, Stateof Ohio, National Student Clearinghouse, Federal Aid Processing System, highereducation institutions, high schools and other community entities.
Maintains data and statistics ofstudent record information. Maintains student records and requireddocumentation in databases. Maintains confidentiality of student records andother sensitive information.
Other Duties andResponsibilities
Attends all required departmentmeetings and trainings.
Manages multiple assignments ofvarying complexity while meeting federal, as well as, internal regulations andprocedures. Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing needs of the Collegeand business partners.

Employee converses verbally withothers in person and by telephone. Employee occasionally reaches with hands orarms, climbs or balances and stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. Vision demandsinclude close, relatively detailed vision and distance vision. Employeeoccasionally lifts or exerts force of up to 25 pounds when moving materials.
Working Conditions
Typical office environment. Regularexposure to moderate noise typical to business offices.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. At least three (3) years of clerical experience in admissions, financial aid, or student service role. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
