Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is looking for a Echo Technician at our Heart Care practice in Bethesda, Maryland. The Echo Technician will perform a range of echocardiographic studies to diagnose a variety of vascular diseases, illnesses, and disorders under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager. Examinations may include Transthoracic, Exercise, and Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms.
Associates Degree in Cardiovascular Vascular Technology acquired from an Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) - accredited diagnostic ultrasound program required
Registry eligible according to the guidelines established by The American Registry Of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) NOTE: Any Echocardiography Technicians must obtain registry upon employment.
Six months of clinical scanning experience in a ambulatory care based environment. Scanning performed within an approved clinical internship will be considered adequate experience.
