The Johns Hopkins Hospital- Weinberg 5A is a 15-bed inpatient unit that provides medical care to adult oncology patients. On this unit, you will care for patients with acute leukemia and other hematological malignancies, blood and marrow transplants, and solid tumors. Our hematologic malignancy and hematology patients have access to some of the most innovative and advanced therapies in the world. Because Kimmel Cancer Center research scientists and clinicians closely work together, new drugs and treatments developed in the research laboratory are quickly transferred to the clinical setting, offering patients improved therapeutic options and the chance to participate in innovative clinical trials.
Shifts: 8 Hour Evening Shifts
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a certified training course for Nursing Assistants required
Active Maryland Nursing Assistant Certification is required
Active and valid CPR certification required upon hire
Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of experience
