The Registered Nurse / RN will work within our PACU, a unit that features 17 phase I and II beds and an isolation room. On an average day, our PACU nurses see 40-50 inpatient surgery patients and with a diverse patient population, no two days are ever the same.


The PACU RN is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients; coordinating the medical plan provided by support service departments relating to the assigned patients; identifying and implementing nursing interventions and evaluates results; and demonstrating developing leadership qualities.


Hours:

• Full Time, 36 hrs per week
• Monday - Friday shifts
• Shifts vary and must be flexible with 8:30a - 5p, 9a - 5:30p, 10a - 6:30p, 12p - 8:30p, or 2p - 10:30p
• on-call

Requirements:

• Current Maryland RN licensure and CPR certification.
• Associates of Nursing required, Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must have a minimum of one year of current PACU or critical care experience.
