The College of Pharmacy is recruiting for a Research Coordinator in the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy. Successful candidates will work closely with our highly collaborative team of faculty, staff, and trainees, as well as external partners. The successful candidate will serve as the Research Project Manager for research related activities.
This position will be filled as either a Research Coordinator II or Research Coordinator III dependent on candidate experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for remote/hybrid options.
Duties include:
Research Project Management: - Manage project team tasks, assignments, deliverables, and timelines to ensure the timely delivery of projects. - Support and coordinate the execution of ongoing research grants and contracts with minimal supervision. - Support and collection of proposal development and submission documents (including budgetary and planning aspects) in collaboration with the SSC Research team with minimal supervision. - Support and coordinate the publication submission process; including pre-submission editing and proofreading, graphics editing, and preparation of files for submission. - Coordination and correspondence with subcontractors, vendors, sponsors and funding agencies with minimal supervision. - Support UF investigator team in preparation of reports and other documentation such as monthly, bi-annual, and annual reports, carry-forward requests, no-cost extensions and with cost extensions for the sponsor and other stakeholders. - Provide support with the collection of documents (administrative and/or financial) for the purposes of agency reporting (e.g. progress reports) in collaboration with the SSC Research team and/or College of Pharmacy's Regulatory and Compliance Office. - Communicates with the SSC Research team on matters concerning UF DSP, UF Contracts and Grants and/or sponsor communication. This includes but is not limited to needed budgetary changes and/or large unbudgeted purchases, contractual amendments, carry-forward requests, no cost extensions, etc.
Administrative tasks: - Independently arrange and coordinate teleconferences and meeting minutes for research related meetings. - Independent Preparation of meeting materials, including slide decks and agendas for meetings within the research program(s). - Prepare and collect data to provide progress reports (monthly, quarterly and annually). - Communicate with the applicable SSC team (Research, Fiscal, and HR teams) as applicable regarding all international matters. - Independently: maintenance, design and editing of the program's web homepage. - Independently plan and coordinate events. - Schedule agendas and itineraries for visitors with minimal input. - Assist graduate students with dissertations (scheduling logistics, etc.).

Expected Salary:
Research Coordinator II: $45,000-$55,000 commensurate with education and experience.
Research Coordinator III: $55,000-$65,000 commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Research Coordinator II: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Research Coordinator III: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates will be evaluated at the level for which they are qualified.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in an appropriate area. Prior research experience is required. This may include managing research projects.
