Position Summary:
As a nurse on in the Interventional Radiology department, you will assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures to include but not limited to Angioplasty, Stenting, Percutaneous Drainage, Percutaneous Biopsy, Intravascular Therapy, Diagnostic Studies, Neuroradiology Studies, and Neurosurgery Services.
Licensure/Certificiation:
Current Maryland or Compact RN license
CPR certification - AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
Education:
Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred or enrolled in first BSN course within six months of hire and BSN completed within 4 years of hire
Previous ICU experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills:
Work requires the analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain medical center policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or medical center employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.
