VCA Veterinary Emergency Service & Veterinary Specialty Center, in Middleton, WI are seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our 2nd/swing shift team!
Snapshot of the Role:
Triage
Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
Assist with all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge, including departmental rounds
Monitoring hospitalized patients, treatments and nursing care
Communicate with clients
Physical examinations and patient assessments
Venipuncture/IVC placement, cystocentesis, urinary catheter placement and NG tube placement.
Anesthesia and sedation procedures
Blood transfusion therapy including collection, administration, and transfusion reactions

Schedule: Full-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling. Swing Shift or 2nd shift. Not looking for Full-time hours? We offer flexible scheduling!
Compensation: $22 - $27 /hour
We offer a shift differential to all hourly associates who work within a specific timeframe. Shift differential is $3.00 /hr.
