VCA Aurora Animal Hospital's Neurology team invites you to be our newest Patient Care Coordinator!
VCA Aurora Animal Hospital, located in Aurora, Il, offers a wide range of specialty, critical care, emergency service, and primary care.
Our Neurology Service:
VCA Aurora's Neurology Service comprises of two board-certified neurologists, Licensed Technicians, and Veterinary Assistants. Our board-certified neurologist perform intricate examinations, diagnostic testing, and neurologic surgeries.
As a Neurology Patient Care Coordinator, you will be, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
Duties will include:
· Heavy client contact, including in-depth client education.
· Coordinate patient-care services.
· Accurately entering charges.
· Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services.
· Maintaining and updating patient records.
· Presenting and explaining treatment plans to clients.
· Discharging patients to clients.
Schedule: Full-time opportunity. We utilize a "4x10" schedule (4-day work week, 10-hour shifts) and no scheduled weekends.
Requirements: 2 year of veterinary experience required. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
