located Northeast of Sacramento is seeking a
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our one of a kind veterinary hospital!

Highly competitive salary with rewarding shift differential and hiring bonus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care for all patients


• Completing treatments for outpatient or hospitalized patients


• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement


• Assisting veterinarians with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia


• Triaging and stabilizing incoming emergency patients


• Participate in client communication and education, explaining administration of medications, follow-up care, diet recommendations and general animal care

VCA Animal Hospital offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance. 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, and health and well-being programs that provide resources and training. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $26.00 to $32.0 per hour.
