Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse AssistantNurse Manager Med/Surg to our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Mercy Medical Center. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
Full-Time, 36 Hour Weeks, Nights 7pm-7am
You Will Be Responsible For:
Exceptional Patient Care : Ensures that care is delivered with respect for individuals' rights and preferences.
Excellent Analyst : Evaluates the quality and appropriateness of health care for the critical care patient. Accountable for quality initiatives for core measures, ACT initiatives and patient satisfaction
Continued Professional Growth: Assumes responsibility for staffing and scheduling personnel. Assignments reflect appropriate utilization of personnel, considering scope of practice, competencies, patient/client/resident needs, and complexity of care.
Demonstrates Clinical Competency: Coordinates nursing care with other health care disciplines, and assists in integrating services across the continuum of health care. Supports the Care Coordination model.
Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Knowledge of nursing practices normally acquired by completing a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Masters in Nursing or health related field or actively working toward preferred.
Licensure : Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
Certification : CPR certification required. ACLS certification required and Instructorship preferred in med/surg areas.
Experience: 2 years of supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
