Description:

Plans and organizes the activities in the Lactation Dept. to provide assistance and education to the
breast feedings moms. Responsible for daily in house breastfeeding mom visits and lactation
education for patients and staff. Out-patients visits also done per request for lactation assistance. PRN as needed.


Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)





Education: Must be experienced in bedside lactation help and certified in the field





Experience:
A working knowledge of principles and practices of a Lactation





Department, including methods and techniques used in program development and planning.
