The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology
has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Supervisor, Clinical Business Operations. The Supervisor, Clinical Business Operations supervises the prompt resolution of problems that arise in daily clinical operations. This role collaborates with other service areas in providing a consistent standard of service across the operations. The Supervisor, Clinical Business Operations monitors adherence to policies and ensures procedures are efficient and patient-centered.
Hires and onboards Clinical Business Operations specialists
Maintains access and reviews NICE dashboards to assess staffing and productivity
Supervises day to day operations for all the clinical business operations specialists
Conduct Annual Performance Evaluations and performance management if needed Oversees the prior authorization process
Participates in faculty meetings to provide communication on clinical operations in an effort to streamline processes for patients and physicians
Will be lead manager for E-Consults as this comes online for the division
Maintain and update staff's daily schedule and coverage
Monitor staff workload and provide coverage as needed
In-basket monitor and assistance for CBOR team members
Trains new employees/-follow up with training updates

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of business and management principles.
Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
Epic experience preferred
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
