Being the Dog Daycare Manager means you are a believer in the possibilities of high-quality patient care-with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. You will work alongside our Management Team to provide mentorship and ensure that the Dog Daycare runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment. Our ideal Dog Daycare Manager is someone who loves animals and can provide high-quality pet care for our pet parents while their dogs visit us for the day or an extended stay.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety
Implementing department policies and procedures
Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings
Interviewing potential new hires
Clean and maintain play yards, keeping them free of waste, fur/hair, and other unsanitary or hazardous materials
Provide dogs with food and water throughout the day
Record upkeep
Monitor large group of dogs with vary temperaments, play styles and sizes
Light housekeeping
Schedule: Full- time opportunities
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
At least 18 years old
Prior experience at a dog daycare facility, shelter, or in-person animal care
Familiarity with various dog breeds
Passion for taking care of animals
Must be able to work weekends and/or holidays
Teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining large play yards, such as being on your feet for duration of shift, ability to lift 40 lbs.
