Our
Intermediate Patient Care Team
:
The
Intermediate Patient Care
team provide specialized care to patients who are recovering from surgery or illness and are in the process of being released to return home to their owners.
Primary job responsibilities
of our
Patient Care
Team
include:
Monitoring hospitalized patients,
treatments
and nursing car
e
Physical examinations and patient assessments
Communicate with clients
D
epartmental rounds
Venipuncture/IVC placement
Fluid maintenance
Maintaining electronic medical records
Administering medications (oral, IV, SQ, IM)

Compensation:
Starting at $ 23+ / hour
Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
Shift Differential:
We offer a shift differential to all hourly associates who work within a specific timeframe:
Eligible hours are 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, shift differential is
$3.00/hr
.
Schedule:
Full-time opportunity,
3 x
12 hour
shift with rotating weekends. Available shift: 7a-8p (Days) or 7p-8a (Overnights).
Requirements:
2+
years experience
as a Veterinary Technician
S
kill
ed
physical examinations and patient assessments
Must be able to work successfully as part of a team
Ability to lift and restrain animals weighing up to 40 pounds
Ability to communicate clearly with clients and staff members
