Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts
The primary purpose of your job is to administer respiratory care and diagnostic services with skill, proficiency and professionalism to adult, pediatric and neonatal patients in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations and established policies and procedures of Martha's Vineyard Hospital and to assure that the highest degree of quality care and safety is maintained.
Qualifications
•Degree from an A.M.A and RBRC approved school of Respiratory Therapy
•Certified from the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc.
•Currently Licensed in Massachusetts
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
•Minimum of three years experience in an acute care hospital with broad range of experiences, particularly ER and ICU settings.
•EPIC, basic computer skills, arterial puncture, critical thinking skills, mechanical ventilation, diagnostic, assessment and therapeutic skills, excellent communication skills
•Able to deal with wide range of personality types and ages, must have ability to work as productive team member, must be flexible with varying work start times and rotation, on call coverage
