Kforce's client seeks a Java Spring SQL NoSQL API Engineer in Dallas (TX), Charlotte (NC) or Chandler (AZ). This is an opportunity for fulltime with client post contract.
Responsibilities:
The Java Spring SQL NoSQL API Engineer will lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
As a Java Spring SQL NoSQL API Engineer, you will collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
REQUIREMENTS:
6-8 years of software engineering experience
4-6 years of J2EE experience
4+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
1+ years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web application using JavaScript, Angular or a combination of both
2+ years of experience with Agile project methodologies
2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
1-2 years of No SQL database experience - MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
1+ years of Gradle or Maven experience
Experience supporting applications in Production
Nice to Have:
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of Web applications experience
Knowledge of MongoDB experience.
Knowledge of Technical and business architecture experience
Knowledge of CICD Pipeline experience
Knowledge and understanding of technology object oriented: design patterns and their application
Knowledge and understanding of application testing methodologies, tools, and execution
Knowledge and understanding of database design, estimation, and implementation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
