Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility

As a part of the Engineering Team, the Engineering Intern will support on site Engineering tasks, such as day-to-day operation of the Systems Integration, inclusive of Specialty Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Installation Engineering in the resolution of production related issues.

Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language


  • Being enrolled in Electrical/Systems/Mechanical Engineering program in accredited university or college and currently studying in at least you second year of your undergraduate program. Minoring in Software engineering is an asset

  • Involved in design projects  specifically electronic systems, mechanical systems & Software build

  • High level oral and written communication skills required for report writing and design justification documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Engineering Life Cycle, including typical tools for requirements development (for example DOORS and modeling tools)

  • Knowledge of coding in SQL, C#, VBA on a data environment

  • Excellent understanding and demonstration on creating algorithm for a problem. Experience on software development during projects or school work

  • High level of planning, task management, analytical, and time management skills

Physical Demands


  • Typical office environment with no special physical requirements

  • Depending upon assignment, there may be need to carry, crawl, climb, manually manipulate materials and tools, as well as lift as much as 50 pounds/23 kilos, with assistance.

This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check. Qualified candidates with (a) criminal history will be considered and are not automatically disqualified, consistent with federal law, state law, and local ordinances.
