Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) is seeking a driven individual to join our Wollaston Alloys/CPP-Boston team as a Financial Analyst. This role will work in our manufacturing plant located in Braintree, MA , reporting directly to the Controller. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the accounts payables functions, working closely with the Purchasing team and driving cash flow strategies. Major Responsibilities


  • Work directly with the Purchasing Manager and directly with vendors to resolve account issues and questions
  • Partner with the Purchasing team to resolve both current and aging issues on the AP hold report for items that fail the three-way match
  • Monitor the facility's Accounts Receivable aging, and lead bi-weekly meetings with the Customer Service Representatives and Financial Shared Services Group to coordinate collection efforts on specific aged account items
  • Prepare and update the site's weekly cash forecast for weekly cash calls with the Corporate Finance team
  • Prepare several daily reports for the CPP-Boston leadership team
  • Assist in completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations (trade payables/trade receivables)
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis on special projects
About You

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, an Associate Degree in Finance/Accounting acceptable with 8+ years of similar previous experience
  • Experience: 4 + years of accounting, manufacturing experience preferred
  • Certifications : CMA certification or CMA track highlight preferred
  • Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Ability: Strong PC skills (in Microsoft Office- Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and thorough understanding of ERP systems. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and possess strong Excel skills ( V-lookups, pivot tables, "IF" and "SUMIF" statements). Must have experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software. Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls and procedures. Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities; time management skills are essential
