Our Security Officer will monitor and guard employees' safety and property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.

Responsibilities

You Will . . .

• Monitor complex by CCTV, guard property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry


• Provide vehicle and foot patrols, performs daily guard tours, examines doors & windows, and inspects gates to determine if they are secured


• Identify, check, and report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking pipes, and security door(s) left unlocked


• Observe individuals exiting buildings to guard against theft of company property; sounds alarm or contacts police or fire departments in case of unauthorized persons or building fire


• Provide vehicle escorts, daily equipment and building checks, ID badge assistance


• Provide alarm dispatches for all corporate and field locations as needed and process service calls for equipment failures as needed


• Assist with CPR training and Incident Response Team and all other duties as requested


• Provide a computer-generated daily activity report log that must be submitted to the Security Manager at completion of assigned shift


• Assign access cards to new employees, cleaners and contractors as needed

Qualifications

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

• High School education or equivalent  


• 2 or more year’s security-related experience


• 
  

  Good people and communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required to drive company van to leased facilities)

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to work various shifts including evenings, weekend, and holidays is preffered. Must be flexible to work various weekend shifts Saturday & Sunday.  The assigned shifts are 6:00AM-6:00PM and 6:00PM-6:00AM

  Must possess skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word—some knowledge with online computer access systems
