Senior Global Database Manager at Merz North America Inc

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Digital Salesforce Marketing Manager skilled at applying marketing automation, CRM, SEO, Google Analytics and other modern marketing applications to fuel multi-touch digital strategies and ABM initiatives to engage prospects and retain customers globally. Your background will provide thought leadership within and outside of the team and own the product roadmap for the personalization platform that will power the customer experiences of the future. This hands-on technical leadership position will be responsible for overall execution, management, projects and customer care for the Merz Aesthetics Database Platforms.


You will be responsible for supporting site platforms for marketing activities, campaign enablement, and identifying opportunities for integration with key sales and client management technologies.


The successful applicant will oversee the development and implementation of new projects and features that will enhance the Merz Aesthetics Database, making strategic investments and partnerships to enhance our Marketing Technology platforms to reach target international audiences effectively. 


The position will also require knowledge on other digital platforms such as, website management, analytics, email campaigns. 


The applicant should be able to think both tactically and strategically as we develop our roadmap and be comfortable to present this to leadership in an articulate manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Management – 



  • Partnering with global business units to assess needs, provide innovative technology recommendations that will align with the overall Merz Digital Roadmap and promoting the tools for greater user adoption

  • Execute the deployment of these platforms with design, user testing and roll out processes and procedures to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and users are properly trained

  • Manage customer insight capabilities, including customer data, customer journeys, segmentation and management of digital KPIs

  • Responsible for providing strategic recommendations and execution of SF marketing campaigns, managing expectations of and optimization of KPIs

  • Accountable for driving and/or being associated with benchmark industry products and services.

  • Responsible for launching and growing innovative technology products for internal and external stakeholders.


Technology – 



  • Utilize statistical and machine learning approaches to cross-channel personalized digital engagement across authenticated and unauthenticated digital channels.

  • Define visionary products for AI.ML technology such as Recommendation Engines, Reinforcement Learning, Content Classifiers and Decision Support Systems; including the building and shipping of such products.


Liaison – Consult with stakeholders to lead and ensure that there is collaboration and organization to efficiently support business objectives.


Project/Relationship Management - Responsible for the project management of multiple projects simultaneously; including the prioritization, problem solving and troubleshooting of those projects.


Reporting/Analytics - Develop basic reports, analyze data using SQL MS Suite, Tableau or a similar BI tool.


Manage subscriber data – segment using queries or other tools like CDP.


Strategic Thinking - Stay informed of the competitive landscape and the industry’s best practice, specifically relating to cloud technology


Administrative/Other



  • Support documentation needs for training

  • Management of eContracts, invoices, and vendor relations as needed. 


 


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 



  • 6+ years of relevant work experience (Required)

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Required)

  • knowledge of Salesforce core platforms (Required)



EDUCATION:



  • Bachelors in Marketing, Technology (Required)
