JOB SUMMARY:

The Security Manager will be responsible for any Administrative Duties of Security across both properties and assist with the implementation of the department's objective. Will serve as a centralized communication resource for all security information across the properties and coordinates communication on security emergencies between property leaders and corporate senior management during serious incidents. The Security Manager will review department structure, organization and staffing to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and to meet departmental objectives.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Responsible for the administration duties of the Security Department and the implementation of all the department's programs. Ensures security training standards are concurrent across the properties and align with Caesars Entertainment security standards.
  • The Security Manager will follow the directives as set forth in the policies and procedures manual to ensure the effective and efficient operation of all shifts. Will run shifts as needed.
  • The Security Manager will be responsible for department function and personnel (all shifts), reports, equipment and supplies necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the Security Department, and other tasks assigned.
  • The Security Manager will oversee the safeguarding of the Companies properties, Team Members, customers, and other items of value on Company premises from preventable harm or danger
  • Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acts as a mentor to Team Members in order to provide superior customer service
  • The Security Manager reviews emergency and crisis security protocols across the properties for the development of best practices to be implemented during incidents.
  • The Security Manager maintains collaborative relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement entities. The Security Manager facilitates distribution of security related information to and from law enforcement entities, property executive management and security leaders.
  • Oversee Nightlife Security to ensure compliance with regulations and policies. Works with marketing teams to ensure security plans are developed for all major special events taking place on properties.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Security and Security Intelligence teams
  • Orchestrate Summer Concert Series security coverage to ensure safety of all Team Members, spectators, and performers. Work closely with local law enforcement and fire department as the liaison for the property and third party
  • Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises assigned personnel, coaches for success and continuing improvement of Team Member skills
  • Ensure performance appraisals are prepared and presented timely

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred
  • Strong gaming or law enforcement background required. Minimum of three years as a Supervisor, Security Supervisor or Law Enforcement required

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Literate and fluent in English
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good interpersonal skills, with emphasis in relationship building
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to motivate and develop staff effectively
  • Must possess excellent judgment under pressure
  • Working knowledge of Harrah's and Harveys
  • Must be able to work all shifts.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:


  • Ability to use repetitive motion, reach, grasp, hold, finger dexterity.
  • Ability to hear, see and have color distinction; vision correctable to 20/20. Vision testing may be required.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Mobility skills to move quickly and easily around the property

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.
