The Doe Run Company is seeking a Mill Trainee for a production position in a production environment. You will be expected to assist in operations that process all finished rolling mill products produced by the rolling mill operator. This is an entry level position. The Mill Trainee is expected to learn how to perform all tasks in the mill safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Assist in operations that process all finished rolling mill products produced by the rolling mill operator. This is an entry level position. The Mill Trainee is expected to learn how to perform all tasks in the mill safely and effectively.
1. Perform daily preventive maintenance to the rolling mill.
2. Assure that all needed production supplies are available (i.e. pallets, banding, tape, protective wrappings).
3. Complete all daily end-of-shift housekeeping tasks.
4. Assist the Assistant Mill Operator in the processing of all finished rolling mill products.
5. Assist the QC Packaging Operator.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
