Currently, we are looking for a top-performingPM Line Cook. $19-$21/hr

We are looking for a skilled 1st Cook to prepare delicious meals according to our menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also essential.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility include:

  • Prepares, cooks, and presents food as outlined in the menu descriptions, build sheets, photos' and/or Server's checks

  • Assist in establishing menu specifications, plate presentation, and creating visual food displays for all outlets

  • Assist in the development and training of 2nd Cooks & Kitchen Attendants

  • Start food items that must be prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs

  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill

  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly

  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

  • Ability to work various shifts that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • A keen interest in staying on top of culinary trends

  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition

  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times

  • Can communicate well with guests

  • Must be willing to "pitch in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player

  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule

  • Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
