eviCore healthcare is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Senior Manager. The Software Engineering Senior Manager role is an exciting opportunity to be on the frontlines evolving the way our organization builds and delivers software applications. Our EviCore platforms are designed to form the backbone of the EviCore applications that power our business. Entities are a collection of tightly defined micro-services and business interaction designed to provide fast, reliable, and consistent information to both internal and external consumers. The footprint includes over multiple domains across Client, Provider, Member, Agent, Administrative, Clinical and Compliance.

This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, relationship building, and ability to lead engineering teams towards multiple objectives while adjusting to accommodate emerging business opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to showcase engineering principles related to the technology stack (micro-services, event-based vs. real-time processing, data replication & reconciliation) and have a history of implementing complex programs. They need to demonstrate a pattern of partnering across multiple organizations to deliver robust solutions while balancing competing priorities. They must identify and champion opportunities to expand the platform while delivering date-driven business requirements to external and internal consumers.

Responsibilities:


  • Technology leader overseeing design and delivery of eviCore platform within the microservices architecture.

  • Oversee technical aspects of implementing core components

  • Drive consistent, reliable, and scalable solutions.

  • Work closely with product owners, architecture, and peer software engineering organizations to identify, design, and implement event-driven solutions.

  • Lead a team of software engineers to establish and implement entity platform patterns.

  • Attract, recruit, manage, develop, and retain talented team members, including hiring and growing employees as well as effective use of consultants.

  • Approve and assist staff in formulating adjustments to product scope, timing, and budgets as needed by applying established best practices.

  • Track and monitor the progress of key programs and their associated milestones and execute adjustments as necessary.

  • Be a trusted advisor and partner with key Business and Technology leaders.

  • Act as servant leader to team of software engineers following Agilepractices

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of prior leadership experience, specifically leading a team of high-performing software engineers.

  • 3+ years of healthcare industry experience is strongly desired

  • Background in micro service architectures and platform transformations with a history of leading the execution and launch of high-profile initiatives.

  • Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders to identify and champion KPIs that are vital to shift.

  • Experience working in technology and with clients and business partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Knowledge of SDLC processes, roles, responsibilities and deliverables.

  • Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and support is required.

  • Must have capability and desire to Mentor others.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing processes, responsibilities, and work environments and make independent decisions quickly.

  • Well-developed communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of employees/clients.

  • Effective motivator and self-starter.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 128,900 - 214,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
