Job Description:

Summary: Ensure proper distribution of all parts to the manufacturing production floor and those staged for upcoming builds of oilfield pressure pumping equipment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Any one position may not include all of the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within this classification.
• Utilize reports from Oracle, the Scheduling group, or the Planning group to validate all parts received from paint, staging lanes, or the warehouse.
• Satisfy part request demands from production floor, Scheduling group, and management.
• Understand and use production schedules to aid in efficient staging setup and operation, to include material availability and placement.
• Assist Production Schedulers in coordination of material and parts movement across all production and support business functions.
• Communicate with management and production floor on missing component arrival dates.
• Attend all necessary production meetings to remain aware of any materials or parts issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Work with Production Schedulers and Staging Coordinators to identify any material issues or non-conformances and aid in expedited correction.
• Assist in finding negative open requirements and arrange part returns.
• Collaborate with Staging Coordinators to run the blue bin and parts return processes.
• Provide input to Scheduling and other necessary parties to provide better parts presentation and Staging process improvements.
• Assist with all regularly scheduled physical cycle counts for assigned materials on production floor and in staging areas.
• Daily involvement in shop and yard organization and cleanup.
• Take daily direction from Production Schedulers while working closely with production and warehouse personnel.
• Fill in for Production Schedulers when necessary, performing basic duties to aid in smooth flow of parts to and from the production floor.
• Participate in a Committed Safety Individuals (CSI) team to promote a safe work environment with positive safety behaviors and practices.
• Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the UEM safety culture.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• One (1) year of parts/material handling in a manufacturing setting required.
• MS Office experience required.
• Oracle or other ERP system experience preferred.
• Capability of utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level occasionally.
• Ability to exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50 lb/f (no wheels) or 100 lb/f (wheels).
• Requires bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands, and fingers on occasion.
• Work in an air-conditioned office, outside, and diesel shop environment.
• Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and motor vehicles as necessary.
