Department Overview
The Information Technology Department is responsible for planning and implementing complete information technology solutions for the company. The department implements the governance for the use of network and operating systems as well as providing the company with the functionality it needs. IT can be broken into three major functions: Governance, Infrastructure, and Functionality. Governance refers to the operational parameters for use of the IT system and networks. The Infrastructure refers to the hardware components necessary to make the IT system function. Finally, the Functionality is the most apparent task, involving creating and maintaining applications, securing and storing data, and assisting with software issues.
Position Summary
We are actively seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide day to day support of key business applications (Finance, Operations, etc.) This individual will partner with business leaders to understand the critical business priorities and develop a plan to design and implement system functionality to meet the business needs.
You Will:
(Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
Provide day-to-day business application support for Financial and ERP systems
Run projects related to implementation of new functionality and 3rd party integrations with a focus on simplification and scalability.
Extensive understanding of IT fundamentals: data structures, operating systems, database systems, object-oriented systems & design
Deployment of database change scripts from third party vendors
Analyze performance issues to determine best solutions to increase performance
Manage administrative functions such as customizations of forms, fields, reports and create saved searches, dashboards, workflows, employee access management and financial reporting support
Create and execute a test plan and tests to be utilized prior to upgrades, ensuring all functionality works as expected and without interruption.
Creation of custom interactive forms using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, SQL based programs, spreadsheets, among other tools for the various departments in the company.
Monitoring the successful completion and accuracy of application interfaces
Develop and maintain a technical backlog of user functionality requests and system needs, along with a roadmap to implement the items in the backlog
You Have:

Education
HS/GED required
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Experience
+3 years relevant experience
Software/Skillset
Financial systems / ERP experience is preferred
Experience with iRely, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics all a plus
Familiarity with SOX compliance
Knowledge of relational database structures and SQL
Knowledge of Oracle database administration
Strong communication and project management skills
Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and adapt quickly to change
Must be able to troubleshoot, resolve and communicate solutions for system issues
