Summary

  • The UCC Sr. Solutions Architect for the Cisco Practice is a member of AVI-SPL's Technology & Innovation Group responsible for supporting, architecting, promoting, and scaling the companies Cisco practices, focusing primarily on current and emerging Cisco UCC & Hybrid Work Solutions. Your primary focus is enabling the global sales, business development, design engineering, and other solutions architecture teams to understand, contribute to, demonstrate, and consistently deliver valuable innovative Cisco solutions to customers.
  • You engage directly with customers, Cisco solution plus and other eco-system partners as the technical solutions subject matter expert to deliver on innovation and enable an integrated work experience through the use of live and remote presentations and demonstrations of the value of Cisco's Hybrid work and Collaboration solutions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate an environment to perform demonstrations and technical proof of value for customers to show the features and benefits of the Cisco Collaboration portfolio.
  • Represent the technical aspects of the Cisco Collaboration SaaS solutions and architecture and how they're interconnected with all elements of the Cisco portfolio, ensuring that the features and benefits of Cisco technology are understood and valued by Customers. architecture and how they're interconnected with all elements of the Cisco portfolio, ensuring that the features and benefits
  • Assist sales teams, design engineers, UCC engineers as well as solution architects, design innovative solutions that drive strategic objectives and help differentiate AVISPL offerings.
  • Provide guidance to the sales and engineering groups to address current and future technology trends in Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration and adjacent architectures.
  • Engage with UCC business development personnel to meet with customers, discover opportunities for product and services sales, and assist in the development of those specific opportunities. These activities to include hosting technical workshops, Solution demonstrations for proof of value and other customer engagement activities.


  • Partner with UCC Global Practice leads to provide technical support and guidance for our strategic goals.
  • Direct interaction with Cisco technical channel and leadership to evaluate product and discuss/shape technology roadmaps
  • Develop and perform UCC technical training for internal departments based on technologies, tools & processes that are created & rolled out to various internal groups to help drive awareness and solution value
  • Participate in the development of projects that consist of a variety of challenges and cross-departmental coordination as it relates to new business creation, business innovation, new products and strategic initiatives
  • Development & maintenance of predefined, repeatable solutions to improve sales velocity, executed margins, preferred partner utilization & overall customer experience


  • Travel to regional offices to directly interface with technical leadership and team members on an as needed basis
  • Special projects as required




Education and / or Experience
  • You have a university degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in the Collaboration field or in a SaaS sales engineering role
  • You have at least 3-5 years as an SME with ability to demonstrate technical solutions effectively to customers
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Cisco UC Solutions Engineering in similar pre-sales or related field roles as well as a specialization in two or more of the following:


  • Cisco Webex Cloud Calling


  • Cisco Contact Center
  • Cisco Hybrid Work Solutions


  • Certifications with experience equivalent to Cisco Certified Design Professional and/or CCNP Desired
