Summary

This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Regulations. As a Supervisory Attorney-Adviser, you will supervise and manage a team of attorneys and support staff that is engaged in the formulation, implementation and interpretation of laws, regulations and rules in one of several areas of financial services and consumer credit law.

Responsibilities

As a Supervisory Attorney-Adviser, you will:

• Manage significant, complex rule-making projects and policy proposals.


• Oversee the formulation, implementation and interpretation of consumer credit and financial services laws, regulations and rules.


• Oversee the preparation of draft legislation and rules, amendments to policies, Congressional testimony, official CFPB interpretations, and analyses of proposed legislation, rules and policies.


• Speak authoritatively on consumer financial services laws and other regulatory matters and represent CFPB at meetings and conferences.
