Position Summary

As part of the Regulated Markets (RM) Market Strategy and Analytics team, the Advisor will work with both the Senior Manager and Senior Advisor in the design and development of technical solutions, dashboard creation and data analysis. These activities will support the RM Solutions, Regulatory and Coordination Services team and the RM Client and Market Strategy team in developing business intelligence, market strategy and client insights.

Essential Functions


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop workflows and visualizations utilizing datasets from various internal systems and external sources.

  • Train and support data visualization report/dashboard users and collect feedback used to influence data visualization roadmap

  • Create custom SQL queries and convert them to data visualization dashboards

  • Fulfill ad hoc and exploratory data requests.

  • Understand the mechanics behind existing visualizations and workflows to continually evaluate for enhancements

  • Leverage analytical expertise, creativity and collaboration to turn data into actionable insights.

  • Schedule automated Alteryx Server and Tableau Server jobs and monitor for their successful execution.

  • Responsible for creation of documentation, including data workflows, design documents and user guides.

  • Willingness to experiment and learn new tools and technologies.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 4-7 years relevant experience required.

  • Technical knowledge of relational database concepts, querying, data warehouses and decision support tools, including but not limited to: SQL, Excel, and Tableau.

  • Alteryx experience is a plus.

  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and promotes creativity and innovation.

  • Must work well in the team environment while owning the responsibility of their own deliverables.

  • High degree of professionalism in cross-functional relationships and interpersonal interactions.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 89,000 - 148,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
