We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide support to our existing Human Resources department by coordinating a dynamic onboarding experience for all new hires to the company, and to serve as the lead point of contact for payroll processing.

Position Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations, payroll, assisting with the hiring process, coordinating, and conducting new employee orientations and entering of employment records into our HR database. Working in accordance with established policies and procedures, current state and federal employment laws and/or specific instruction from the Human Resources Director. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.

 

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus two (2) years of HR support experience. Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with personal computers including processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Also, must have knowledge of general business procedures, filing, and administrative clerical operations. Experience working in a payroll environment preferred.

Essential duties of the Human Resources Coordinator include:


  1. Processes employees through HRIS system, conducts background and reference checks, license lookup, OIG exclusion search, and ensures all necessary documents are collected.

  2. Conducts new employee orientation programs using orientation outline, handbook, benefit packages, and ensures that employees sign all required documents.

  3. Assists employees with personnel information and interpretation of policies and procedures.

  4. Processes employee payroll by collecting and verifying data within the system by running bi-weekly and periodic reports. Adds commissions, bonuses, and deductions to the system. Resolves payroll discrepancies with the support of the human resources team.

  5. Responsible for maintenance of confidential personnel files.
