Job Description:

The Lead Agent will oversee the daily shift operations including supervision of personnel, scheduling, training, and performance management. The Lead will conduct surveillance at residences of high-profile clients and report all suspicious activity.

Essential Functions:


  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Provide oversight for the selection, orientation, development, and retention of high caliber staff;

    • Plan and direct the work of staff as well as on-going performance feedback and disciplinary actions, as necessary.
  3. Manage appropriate staffing levels, in collaboration with management, as necessary;

    • Ensure scheduling is managed effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
  4. Develop and implement training for subordinates as directed or required by the client, Pinkerton, or by regulatory or compliance requirements;

    • Ensure the completion, tracking, and documentation of all training, as required by both the client and other legal compliance or regulatory requirements.
  5. Conduct surveillance activities and report suspicious activity.
  6. Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.
  7. Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner.
  8. Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures.
  9. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED with several years of residential, military service, and/or law enforcement experience. Experience leading a team, preferred.   • Frequent sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
