TUVLI is looking for a Java developer who will work within a Software Development and Operations and Maintenance team and develop high performing solutions which satisfy the government client requirements.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Perform independent analysis of business issues/processes and recommend J2EE based programmatic solutions to the government technical lead.

  • Collaborate with other developers to design, build, and maintain the client’s applications in an agile software development team using Kanban, Scrum and other and methodologies.

  • Apply an enterprise-wide set of disciplines for architecting, planning, technical analysis, design, and creation of information systems on an enterprise-wide basis or across a major sector of the enterprise.

  • Must have solid experience in Springboot, Angular and SOAP webservices technologies; and be able to do WebLogic server administration.

  • Troubleshoot SAP Business Objects issues and create BO reports.

  • Develop analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions.

  • Perform process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools, such as Integrated Computer-Aided Software Engineering tools.

  • Conduct software analysis, testing, programming, and debugging.

  • Troubleshoot technical and operational issues reported by the end-users in support of their custom-built applications that support the mission of the agency.

  • Build automation/monitoring/reporting solutions on top of disparate data sources.

  • Must be self-motivated individual with ability to solve complex problems using reverse engineering and reengineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents.

  • Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.

  • Work with the automation team on creating and supporting Enterprise APIs.

  • Work with the test automation team in assisting with client automation initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in performing as part of an Agile software development team.

  • Solid experience with user interfaces such as Java Server Pages, AJAX, HTML and CSS.

  • Knowledge and experience with automation technologies such as GitLab, Selenium, Cucumber, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.

  • Experience with front-end validations using JavaScript.

  • Prior experience performing peer reviews and test code modifications and workflows.

  • The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Desired Qualifications:  


  • Previous work or consulting experience supporting Federal government clients is a plus.
