The Director, Immuno-Oncology Consumer - GI will develop and driving a robust consumer strategy across all our GI indications. This role will be responsible for development and implementation of patient-facing marketing plans that incorporate direct consumer interaction as well as those provided through nurses. You will work collaboratively with cross functional partners to develop robust market shaping activities for commercial success. You will be required to lead and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
This position is based at our Oncology Business Unit Headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD (Washington, DC Metro area), and will work predominantly on site.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead the consumer & nurse marketing strategy, tactical planning, and execution
Translate the brand science and strategy into consumer-friendly terms in an effort to make a positive impact on patient's lives - either directly or through nursing materials
Establish consumer marketing critical metrics including multi-channel media measurement and analytics plans
Lead development of CRM strategy and program development for patients
Lead creation and delivery of core consumer assets in close collaboration with key cross-functional partners such as Business Insights and Analytics, Corporate Affairs, Payer Access Strategy, Brand Team
Develop and implement social media strategy
Lead partner agency relationships, workflow and related expense budgets
Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Prior commercial experience with consumer or HCP marketing
8+ years' confirmed experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: consumer marketing, HCP marketing, new product planning, brand marketing, sales, or market research/analytics, strategic planning
Oncology experience
Ability to lead team of cross functional and technical members to achieve outcomes
Strong business skills to lead multiple program budgets, timelines, process and procedures
Preferred qualifications
MBA or advanced degree (Master's or higher) in Life Sciences
Experience in nurse marketing / education, consumer marketing
Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Patient marketing)
Management experience
Launch experience
Customer facing experience
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate sophisticated constructs
Ability to lead sophisticated projects
Confirmed ability to work in matrixed environment and with Global teams
Strong eye for business
