Non-Clinical Appeals Coordinator - eviCore - Work from Home at Cigna

Job Description:

eviCore is currently seeking six Non-Clinical Appeals Coordinators. The Coordinators will deliver straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Appeals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Receives, documents, investigates, refers and coordinates grievances and appeals.

  • Initiates case files for each grievance or request.

  • Researches and assesses grievances and appeals.

  • Maintains database for completing grievance reports required by agencies and the organization.

  • Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School Graduate and/or equivalent.

  • 2-4 years' experience in the area of using a PC with knowledge of Excel, Access and Word applications.

  • Excellent organizational skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and knowledge of utilization management principles and policies.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Appeals Processing and business/operating processes and procedures.

  • Act with speed and efficiency to intake appeal requests and submit for timely review

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 - 26 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
