Detailed Description:
Perform a variety of intricate wiring, bonding, on fiber optic cable, connectors, electrical Penetrators, junction boxes and similar equipment under direction of supervisor.
Must be able to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets.
Must be able to use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations, measure insulating Resistance, perform dielectric withstanding voltage tests
Must be able to assemble properly and use effectively various molds and plastic injection devices.
Must be able to work from detailed instructions on standard assemblies with guidance and supervision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Good vision including passing color blindness test, coordination and manual dexterity in both hands
Ability to read blueprints. Able to lift 50lbs
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 1O's and lOO's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Carry out detailed written or oral instructions independently.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
