Job Summary / Responsibilities:

At WeldFit, the position of Shop Helper is responsible for helping around the shop per customers order by performing the duties and responsibilities below.

Other Duties / Expectations:

• Obtains various materials for jobs from stock area.


• Clean tools at end of each shift.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.


• Work and think safety at all times.


• Must be able to work overtime and weekends with minimum notice


• Grind tees and plugs


• Operate forklifts and cranes

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend and climb


• Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis


• High Level of manual dexterity

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Prior experience in similar job
