What You’ll Do
Manager will manage charter Platinum Adventures Clubs by planning and hosting group events, outings and presentations for clients in targeted senior market. In addition, responsible for business development to grow membership, accounts, new bank relationships. Director will manage Junior Savers Club by planning and hosting group events and outings in targeted children’s and teen market.
Identify new Senior (age 50+) business opportunities in local communities, create plan for attracting new members and customers and introduce them to the bank and Platinum Adventures Club
Build successful relationships with internal clients and external customers
Research and determine topics/events of interest for Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers members
Organize and attend all local workshops/seminars and local day trips
Travel on an extended trip(s) as group escort as assigned by Platinum Adventures corporate director
When attending day/extended trips, act as host and liaison, assisting members with questions, needs and handling all crisis situations
Participate in local community affairs and support local activities
Provide content for quarterly Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers newsletters promoting future events
Promote upcoming Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers outings through various channels (digital and traditional) to increase awareness and participation in events
Maintain accurate mailing list and email list of members
Keep wintranet Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers page reservations up to date
Create and maintain 12-18 month planning calendar for upcoming events and programs to ensure short and long-term planning
Create opportunities to work with community groups on senior events and presentations
Work closely with Wintrust business lines to coordinate partnered events and share ideas and strategies
Work closely and effectively with Wintrust corporate Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers Directors to develop marketing materials and promote Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers program
Work collaboratively across Marketing Events and Sponsorship Teams to ensure alignment of assets for optimal negotiation of opportunities
Provide quarterly update via meeting at 3 charters during branch or marketing meetings
Merchandise all branches for PA and JS collateral on a quarterly basis
Develop budget for Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers program with corporate Platinum Adventures and Junior Savers Directors
Maintain reporting on visits and successes with local park districts, churches, senior living facilities and progress with them-i.e. joint events, dates, locations
Prepare financial reports for each local event, showing event costs, profits and/or losses
Represent the charters in a professional manner
Qualifications
Possess strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Ability to plan, run and execute events
Strong interpersonal skills-listens to others, works well in a team environment
Excellent communication skills including written and verbal and the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to bank staff and customers
Can prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
Dependability on a consistent basis; be in the office or banks when expected, follow instructions, responsive to manager’s instructions
Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed
Bachelor’s degree in communications, hospitality, marketing or equivalent experience
