Overview

We are looking for an Area Vice President Target Markets to join our team!

You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Development. You will be responsible for activities in specific target markets identified as underperforming; troubleshooting all sales / operations procedures and process for the location; evaluating all Business Development resources, productivity and activity; identify training needs; leading the location growth strategy development and implementation to meet or exceed goals.

About You


  • Familiarity with hospice state and federal guidelines and regulations

  • Working knowledge of business development / operations process, productivity assessment skills

  • Exhibit influential behavior skills to engage business development / operations partners in the assessment, strategic development and implementation processes

  • Ability to work with confidential information

  • Well organized and confident to work independently, but is a team player

  • Ability to communicate clearly to remote field, mid-level, and executive staff

  • Exercises professional judgment and demonstrates good problem-resolution skills

  • Very comfortable working with multiple online and computer applications

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage conflicting priorities

  • Strong communication and follow-up skills


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors' degree Required.

  • 5-10 years business development leadership experience in healthcare service industry required, hospice experience preferred


License/Certification:
  • Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance coverage

Training/Equipment:

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Basic PowerPoint skills

  • Experience reviewing data in electronic systems

  • Experience with HomeCare-HomeBase preferred
