SCOPE: The Senior Administrative Assistant must be a self-starter and be able to anticipate the needs of the department in project management, budgets, travel, supplies, and other duties critical to the day-to-day successful operation of the group. The successful candidate will be part of a global team within the Linde Center of Excellence (COE) group focused on support for safe, reliable, and efficient operations of production facilities worldwide. This position is primarily office but accessibility during off-hours (laptop and cell phone) is occasionally required. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide general administrative support to mid-level to executive management and his/her work group, department, or business - Work with minimal supervision, applies diversified procedures and standards - Expected to gather information from various sources and recommend best solution - May be required to handle sensitive information - Extensive experience with general business practices - Efficient with departmental budgets and financials - Efficient with enterprise financial systems (e.g. JDE, SAP) - Enter, track and maintain record of purchase requisitions - Facilitate international travel in defining itineraries, visa requirements, medical while maintaining low cost - Enter & manage department time sheet information for projects & work orders - Work with various corporate databases to prepare reports on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis - Support team members with preparation of reports and presentations using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Support team with administrative functions associated with creating and tracking global compliance with technical directives Minimum: - 3 or more years' or relevant experience - Fluent computer skills in MS office, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint - Results orientated, strong customer focus, and a team player Preferred: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Administration or Business - Experience working with Oracle Applications, databases, & ERP (JD Edwards) - Knowledge or Experience in JDE Inventory and Purchasing management - Experience with Cognos & Crystal reports - Experience working with Web services, XML - Project Management Training (PMI or equivalent) - Notary Public All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other reason prohibited by applicable law.
