The Opportunity

The Sales Consultant is responsible for representing, selling, negotiating and marketing our new and existing products and solutions. Sales Consultants will demonstrate the capabilities and basic training of our Takeoff Solutions through online demonstrations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leverage consultative/solution based selling technique to position the value of our product to potential customers

  • Perform high volume of cold calls to target pipeline to set appointments with prospects

  • Creatively prospect and deliver the value of our products to prospects using multiple vehicles (i.e. outbound calls, social media, email, etc.)

  • Input and manage prospects and customer data using our CRM

  • Acquire and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products

  • Achieves performance goals by closing new business transactions from lead sources generated internally by the business

  • Completes contract documentation to finalize sales process and obtain commission.

  • Obtains product and sales certifications

  • Works collaboratively with other functional areas of the company to resolve customer issues and drive customer satisfaction

What You Bring to the Team

  • 3-5 years experience in an Inside Sales environment OR Six (6) months of successful experience in a ConstructConnect BDR role.

  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of prospecting and lead generation, customer needs analysis, listening, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills of new business sales.

  • Experience or general knowledge of the construction industry is preferred but not required

  • Must have strong telephone selling skills and is comfortable talking to a wide range of decision makers. Knows customer value drivers and has a deep knowledge of customer business and can discuss issues from multiple angles.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to capitalize on peak selling hours.

  • Knowledge of contact management tools such as Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.

  • This position is fully remote with only occasional travel to the office for team meetings and events. Team members are expected to have an established workspace.

  • Ability to work remotely in the United States or Canada.
