Job Description:

Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities


  • Responsible for Monthly and Quarterly Reporting Analytics and Insights - including Operations Reviews, Reporting and driving GRP Priorities via analytics
  • Partner with Retention Programs Leaders and Mgmt Team to develop and execute the overall strategy and operations for GRP programs - set the vision, identify opportunities, and drive progress with peers. Responsible for driving operational initiatives to achieve the strategic objectives of the GRP program.
  • Lead preparation and reporting for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reviews with leadership and OC.
  • Responsible for coaching team on deep quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand patterns in the business and future actions to take to increase client retention.
  • Deliver key capabilities through technology, reporting and analytics, dashboards, and self-serve analytics tools.
  • Execute complex projects while driving continuous improvement in the business capabilities across GRP and Gartner as a whole
  • Work with data scientist to improve the performance of churn prediction algorithms leveraging internal data

  • Achieve high retention on GRP supported accounts and growth that's higher than company average.
  • Deliver insights to Team NCVI
  • Improved client experience across their journey using Gartner product and services through targeted recommendations on identified gaps.
  • Enhance efficiency of GRP leads through automations and technology tool development to support more effective execution of retention strategy.
  • Make recommendations targeted at material long-term performance improvement.
Relationships: Internal/External

Internal: This role will may occasionally interact with GVPs and SVPs, various roles across Gartner including Sales, Services, Research and Product teams who are aligned to the business they support, as well as the account teams aligned to the client accounts their teams will support.

External: potential interactions with Gartner clients as needed including participating in regular reviews with clients, getting feedback from clients for specific analysis, and coaching their team members on best practices for client meetings.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent; Masters preferred plus 5-7+ years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience. In the alternative, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field plus 5+ years of experience is required.

Professional Experience


  • Top level seasoned professional within knowledge area or across multiple functions
  • 8+ yrs of business experience preferred, ideally working on business operations or strategy operations
  • At least 5+ years' experience within Operational/Strategy Roles
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with/in:
  • Analysis Design and Execution
  • Working as a Consultant to drive business growth with product development, strategy, and management.
  • Executing team and strategy for program that guides sales strategy
  • Crafting effective operating plans
  • Application of iterative insights
Technical/ Professional Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced excel skills. Ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process and analyze large quantities of data relevant to retention business tasks and strategy.
  • Comprehensive Power BI knowledge (data design, data modeling, data management, and data visualization).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to deliver presentations and influence resources from different organizations
  • Strong in providing feedback, influencing others and to distill large amounts/complex information into a concise message
  • Strong ability to work on most sensitive, highly complex problems and manage cross-functional projects or programs in a distributed organization
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and works within broad guidelines to solve complex business issues which may have long-term impact on the organization
  • Applies understanding of Gartner's business and competitive environment to train, coach and develop team
