Type: Full-Time
Location: Santa Clara, California

Job Description:

NVIDIA is building world-class artificial intelligence tools, from autonomous vehicles to medical imaging to speech recognition. In order to do that, we also need a groundbreaking AI infrastructure platform that streamlines the end-to-end machine learning operations pipeline from data acquisition all the way to training and deployment. MagLev is NVIDIA's internal MLOps platform that makes it easy to scale up and mature ML applications so that teams don't have to reinvent the wheel and can focus on innovating.

We're looking for curious, engaged, and collaborative engineers to help us build a suite of tools targeted at ML operations. If you're excited by the opportunity to work with teams across the entire spectrum of the machine learning process, and if you enjoy getting into the nitty-gritty of how to translate user needs into sophisticated applications, this might be the role for you!

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with multiple AI teams in various fields to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.

  • Develop web-based UIs that improve developer efficiency and productivity.

  • Rapidly develop and iterate on software in response to user feedback.

  • Take on difficult, ambitious problems and bring clarity and definition to amorphous questions.

  • Create smooth, easy-to-use interfaces driven by user-centered research and design.

  • Contribute to the adoption of frameworks, standards, and new technologies.

What we need to see:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for creating and improving documentation, engaging stakeholders, and building team consensus.

  • Independence, self-sufficiency, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability over your work.

  • High standards of excellence and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.

  • An understanding of the importance of prioritization and how to balance competing needs.

  • Dedication to building rich, user-centric applications.

  • Cross-cultural competency and sensitivity for working with interdisciplinary, international teams.

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or proven track record of building web-based applications at scale or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of industry experience.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Lit.

  • Strong background in Typescript, Javascript and Go.

  • Expertise in the latest web technologies such as Web Components, Shadow DOM, and ES Modules.

  • Experience delivering software using agile methodology and CI/CD practices.
