Our auction subsidiary, JJ Kane, currently has an opening for a Business Development Analyst in our offices located in Birmingham, AL (Corporate) . The ideal candidate will be able to complie and analyze data with regard to competition, product portfolio, mergers and acquistions.

JJ Kane auctions all types of used equipment including: bucket trucks, digger derricks, construction equipment, back hoes, skid steers, mini excavators, tractor crawlers, dozers, fleet cars and more! Responsibilities:

• Research and analyzes current and future business opportunities.
• Identifies auction trends and developments in competitive environments and summarizes findings.
• Compile and analyze data regarding potential auction mergers and acquisitions.
• Perform financial forecasting.
• Assist in developing projections, reports, and presentations of the financial impact for potential business development projects.
• Support our strategic planning meetings by helping with logistics, meeting materials, summaries, etc.
• Support preparation of contracts/agreements with customers, suppliers, and/or partners.
• Work on projects and or matters of complexity in a support role.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Four Year Bachelor's degree required - Math, Engineering, Finance preferred
• Master's degree desired.
• 2+ Years work experience in engineering, consulting, banking, finance or other strategy/business development role required
