Job purpose
To operate and maintain all building equipment and systems.
Duties and responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC related equipment.
Troubleshoot operations failures and re-establish building services under minimal supervisions
Supervise maintenance work as needed
complete work orders for service call requests by tenants
Perform daily inspections of all building systems
Respond to tenant complaints/request and follow up on ongoing problems
Monitor and replace light fixtures as needed
Maintain supply inventory
Provide information for budget preparation
Education & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED/HSED
4 years of related experience
Valid Driver’s License and Insurance Card REQUIRED
Strong mechanical aptitude
Advanced knowledge of EMS systems
Greater CFC Universal Certificate
Mathematical and reasoning skills and abilities - advanced
Microsoft office programs – basic
Valid drivers license and insurance
Working conditions/environment
Mix of indoor and outdoor work requiring sitting or standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping reaching and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, grasping, hearing, communicating and repetitive motions.
May be occasionally required to work overtime and/or on the weekends for special programs or events.
