A successful candidate will be responsible for:
Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), position overview, blue prints, and work instructions
Work from operations sheets and books, blueprints, wire lists, shop travelers, rework and repair directives, computer generated and other written and verbal instructions
May require lifting and use of overhead hoist assembly
Contribute to a positive work environment
Generate, maintain, and follow materials pulls and assembly floor schedules. Move material and paperwork through to finish stores and maintain status records
Keep equipment and surroundings neat and clean
Ability to read electrical schematics and wire a plus
Performs other duties as assigned
Mechanical Assembler II Duties
Proficient up to 50% of Assembly duties in home department as it relates to the Skills matrix.
Willing and proficient in assembling various products in another manufacturing department
High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of assembly experience preferable and/or demonstrated ability, aptitude/proficiency
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and written instruction to determine the form, fit and function of parts
Adept in basic critical thinking, problem solving and spatial reasoning
