Associate Technical Account Manager/Administrative Assistant




To be successful in the Associate Technical Account Manager/Administrative Assistant role, you will be committed to prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service to clients and colleagues. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel, are necessary. You will work closely with all departments providing support, which includes processing policy changes, ordering loss runs, etc., all while maintaining the highest level of accuracy. Additional administrative duties will include preparing policies for delivery, sorting and scanning mail, ordering supplies, and preparing check requests. A high school diploma is required and an Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred. To succeed in this role, you will possess Two (2) years or more of insurance experience, preferably in an agency, and a Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

  • Develops coverage knowledge and policy-checking skills.

  • Assists the department in writing new business and renewals, through application assembly, setting up files, assembling proposals, issuing binders, I.D. cards, etc., in accordance with agency standards.

  • Determines reasons for requests for cancellations, acts to save accounts in accordance to agency standards and workflows.

  • Maintains client files on computer system and uses computer system to perform all transactions.
