Job Description
Position Overview
The Analyst, Pre-Construction will be responsible for supporting the Invenergy Pre-Construction team, which includes supporting pre-construction project management, estimating, and negotiation, selection, and readiness to contract. This position will focus primarily on the collection, maintenance, and analysis of information and data sets, driving timelines and schedules, and maintaining business processes.
Responsibilities:
Understand and contribute to planning of renewable project cost, construction approach, and scheduling
Work with internal stakeholders to help review and address up front construction and execution related issues earlier in the project lifecycle.
Contribute to the development of detailed project management and construction strategy including implementation plans, budgets, and schedules
Coordinate with the PM team on Project Controls with regard to the scheduling and budgeting of the project
Support internal and external relations necessary to ensure the late stage development and delivery of the project
Develop effective relationships with contractors and suppliers to support the execution strategy
Develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues
Support the Pre-Construction department and its strategic initiatives
Support the estimation and contractor management during proposals and preconstruction phase
Support development of internal tools and processes
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with 0 - 1 years of professional experience.
Engineering or technical degree / background preferred.
Demonstrated agility and flexibility as business needs and priorities shift.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
A desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong skillset in MS Office products.
Ability to travel up to 20%
