Position Summary:

This newly created position is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Walmart Creative team as we transform and expand our imagery production capabilities. The Associate Production Manager will play an important role in communication across studio, creative and cross-functional teams, and will be a part of the development and implementation of new tools and processes as we continue to drive efficiencies across all categories. Managing information on timelines, budget and deliverables, the Production Manager will play a vital part in a dynamic environment.

Key Priorities:

  • Communication: Work with Production and Creative leads to communicate, track, and effectively understand and deliver each project. Update all calendars and communicate with the client on a weekly cadence sharing the progress of each project. Schedule and Run weekly Traffic meeting discussing timelines, budgets, sample issues and deliverables. Facilitate questions or issues that come up during the production process. Manage the feedback loop between clients, and the Studio team to drive for final approval of deliverables. Communicate any gaps in production capabilities to the necessary key stakeholders who can correct and close the gaps.

  • Production Oversight: As the gatekeeper for the projects coming into the studio and the single point of contact on projects the Production Manager would need to follow up on any needed information from the Project Manager, communicate the timeline for completion to the Project Manager, and ensure all studio department heads are updating the project as the work progresses.

  • Timelines: Own and manage master production calendar for studio. Help establish and maintain the timeline and key milestones for all LA studio productions. Update and maintain all projects in Workfront.

  • Finance: Facilitate and communicate monthly and quarterly metrics reports. Create budget scope for each shoot category. Communicate the budget requirements for each shoot category to the Project Managers. Review all incoming projects to make sure they have the appropriate funding. Collect and analyze spending on a per-project basis. Point of contact for all key stakeholders for budgetary questions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years' Experience in imagery production, preferably with a large retail brand.

The annual salary range for this position is $78,750.00-$131,250.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives

Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 1 year's experience in interactive design,
editorial content management, or related field OR 3 years' experience in interactive design, editorial content management, or related field.
