Stay-Lite Lighting is looking for a Scheduling Specialist to join our great team of employees. You will be directly responsible for scheduling and routing the Field Service Team to optimize labor efficiencies and meet service-level commitments.

As a Scheduling Specialist, the ideal candidate will:

  • Establish daily and monthly work schedules for Lighting Technicians/Electricians' Service Team
  • Quickly adjust work schedules to meet emergency service call standards
  • Act as the intermediary between the internal customer service department and Field Service Team to provide information on scheduling changes
  • Provide/update/track timely notifications to the Program Team of their scheduled date/times of service
  • Establish, track and analyze performance metrics, focusing on continuous improvement for operational costs, service levels, and efficiencies through technology
  • Perform statistical analysis of operations department data, including forecasting and historical trend analysis
  • Manage the scheduling software – continually look for efficiencies by maximizing any current and/or new software
  • Establish and maintain workflow processes between the customer service department and purchasing department to ensure material availability
  • Calculate, provide and analyze work capacity plans based on available assets on a monthly basis to the senior management
  • Assist with the Company Fleet program to ensure company vehicles comply with all required maintenance services
  • Work with the third-party vehicle maintenance provider to resolve unplanned vehicle maintenance issues and ensure that vehicles are available for work.
  • Obtain quotes and schedule rental equipment needed for scheduled work
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research or other

    relevant area.

  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience in work planning, scheduling, or another related field

  • Ability to multi-task and change focus as needed.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, and Excel

  • Experience using scheduling software is preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Sitting for up to 7 hours a day
  • Viewing of a computer screen for 80% of the workday
  • Reaching and bending
